Mary E. Young, MD

Dr. Young earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, Summa Cum Laude, from The Catholic University of America and a Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

She completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. and a Residency in Radiation Oncology at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

She served as a Radiation Oncologist and as Chief of Service for the Radiation Oncology Service at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. She then became an Assistant Professor in Radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas and a Staff Physician for the Radiation Oncology Service at Wilford Hall Medical Center.

She is Board Certified in Therapeutic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and is licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts, Texas and Maryland. She has authored or co-authored several scholarly publications and she joined Annapolis Radiology Associates in 1993.
